Original post 9/20/2006: Teamster Local 580 member, Dan George, a UPS employee on the Lansing Reload, was recently on leave from duty in Iraq. Dan enjoyed the company of his family, especially his son Gavin, pictured below. Dan returned to Iraq Saturday, September, 16. If the current situation goes according to plans, Dan's group will turn over control of their operations on or around November 6, 2006. Hopefully, he will be back home to stay by Thanksgiving. Thanks Dan for keeping us safe!
Update 1/23/2007: Dan is home now and is currently awaiting orders to return to active stateside duty.
