Carhaul Contract .                               Upcoming carhaul contract negotiations. .

Proposal meetings are set for January 10, 2011 for the upcoming carhaul contract negotiations. The current agreement expires on May 31, 2011.  These proposals will be sent to the bargaining committee to be included in the negotiation process.  Surveys were also sent by mail to all carhaul members homes to gauge what the members need in this agreement.

The Companies have signaled that they want a fight in the negotiations by reportedly hiring an anti-union law firm to bargain the contract for them.  This attorney has a reputation of forcing the unions to dig in.  If it is a fight they want they will get it.
