Teamsters Help in Hard Times . Information on help in the case of wage, hours and benefits concessions. . |
Many Teamsters 580 members face reduced work hours, wage and benefit
concessions, or layoff. A Certified Union Counselor is available to find the
resources you need to survive in hard times.
Kitty Lipsky is a Steward for the City of Lansing CTP bargaining unit and has
become a Certified Union Counselor through training offered by the Michigan
Association of United Ways and the AFL-CIO. A member of the Board of Directors
for the Capital Area United Way for over three years, she is in a unique
position to provide the information needed by our members, their families, and
friends.

affecting Health and Welfare. I shall respect all personal matters confided to

strengthen the Community Services Programs in my local union and the labor

A Food Ministry with a Servant's Heart, provides low cost boxes of food and
hunger relief nationwide in the United States.
Mobile Food Pantry on the third Saturday of each month in Lansing offers fresh
and non-perishable food items. You do not have to be a Lansing resident to
participate.
