Potter Park Zoo Local 580 Members   Ratify New Contract with Ingham Co .            The new contract brings some improvements in wages and benefits. .

The Teamsters Local 580 Members at the Potter Park Zoo have overwhelmingly ratified a new collective bargaining agreement with Ingham County.  The Agreement provides for a slight wage increase, Pension improvements, and an extra paid holiday.  This agreement demonstrates the strength of the Teamsters Union even in these days of mergers and acquisitions.  The operations of the Potter Park Zoo were recently acquired by Ingham County from the City of Lansing.
