2008 Member Mobilization Meeting .                      Get involved in the 2008 Teamsters Election Program. .

Local 580 Secretary-Treasurer, Mike Parker, is asking members to attend the 2008 Teamsters Local 580 Member Mobilization Meeting on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Local 580 Union Hall: 5800 Executive Drive, Lansing, MI  48911.

Confirmed guests include Senator Mark Schauer, Candidate for Congress in District 7 and Teamsters Legislative Director Bill Black.  Food will be served to participants.

This is an important event that will identify how Teamsters Local 580 members can become involved in the 2008 Teamsters Election Program.  Your involvement is critical to our success.  You can learn about our Local 580 Political Action Program; become a political education rep at your work-site; help elect pro-labor candidates and support pro-worker legislation.

All Teamster Local 580 members are invited and encouraged to bring spouses, parents, family members age 18 or over who are interested in getting involved.
