Purge Bernero Video Contest .                                    Standing up to the bully at City Hall. .

In our continuing effort to stand up to the bully occupying the Lansing Mayor's Office, Teamsters Local 580 is having a contest.  Whoever produces the funniest video, with the main characters being Lansing Mayor Purge Bernero and his alleged loyal assistant, will win dinner for two at one of Mayor Bernero and his developer buddies' favorite watering spots.  So hurry up and produce your funny and hilarious Purge Bernero video and be one of the many that are standing up to the bully at City Hall.  Potholes, political lackeys, boat club members, pontoon boats and Grand Rapids contractors may be used as props in your Purge Bernero video.

Video Contest Rules:

No Purchase necessary to enter or win the contest.  Contest runs from April 1, 2008 through July 1, 2008.  Entries should be submitted on VHS tape or CD.  Entries should be limited to five (5) minutes length.

Any video containing explicit sexual or violent content will be disqualified.

All entries become the property of Teamsters Local 580 (“sponsor”) and will not be returned.  Entries will be void if they are incomplete, lost, damaged, late, received as postage due, or are not able to be viewed due to technical error.  By entering entrants acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements.  The sponsor reserves the right , in its sole and unfettered discretion, to disqualify at any time during the contest any video that it believes may infringe on the rights of any third party.  Sponsor shall have irrevocable, perpetual, universe-wide, fully paid-up and royalty free license to copy, excerpt, edit, and repurpose all Videos submitted which meet the specified requirements (including, without limitation, by means of digitizing or otherwise encoding all submitted videos), and to use, re-use, publish, republish and otherwise exploit such Videos in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other images, in any media now known or hereinafter devised and for any purpose whatsoever, including, without limitation, for use in advertising promotion.

All entries will be judged by the sponsor.  The winning entry shall be awarded a $50.00 gift certificate to a downtown Lansing Restaurant.  Results of the contest shall be posted on www.teamsters580.org.

The Sponsor reserves all rights to make determinations and judgments of eligibility and compliance with these rules.
