Local 580 Members Ratify New   Lansing Delivery Service Agreement .                                  The First Contract For These Workers .

Lansing Delivery Service employees unanimously ratified a new contract during the first week of April.  This is a first contract for these workers who deliver packages for DHL.  The agreement provides for a $3.00 per hour wage increase as well as healthcare and other benefits typically found in a Teamster Contract.  Mike Parker, Teamsters Local 580 Secretary-Treasurer said, "This is another important step for these workers who are fighting to improve their wages, hours, and working conditions. We welcome them as new members of the Teamsters and look forward to further improvements in the future."
